Quick bug fix release for bugs introduced in 6.51:
- New user agent handling would cause BID to not stay logged in to OnlyFans (and possibly other sites). If you find that BID is not staying logged in to a site, clear the BID cache (BID menu->Clear cache and temp files), then restart all instances of BID. Log back in using the "BID Site Login" (Ctrl+Alt+L) function.
- Some data might have been lost when auto scrolling large numbers of pages on "infinite scrolling" sites (e.g. instagram, deviantart and others)
What's new in 6.51.0.0? 26 September 2024
- BID will now be able to load from some CloudFlare and similar protected
sites that were failing to load previously, like:
zzup.com, rule34hentai.net, danbooru.donmai.us, simpcity.su and others
If CloudFlare is detected BID will automatically open and display the page using its internal browser so that you can complete the captcha. Once the captcha is completed, close the internal browser window and BID will rescan the page.
If BID is failing to load a page and BID does not detect Cloudflare (or other) similar blockers, open the URL using BID's internal browser by using the "BID Site Login" function (Ctrl+Alt+L or click the "Chrome" icon in the menu bar). Complete any captcha that might appear, then close the internal browser window and rescan the page.
If you get stuck in an endless captcha loop, clear the BID cache (BID menu->Clear cache and temp files), restart BID, then use the "BID Site Login" function again to open the site and complete the captcha until it loads. - facebook support updated:
- BID will now locate all images in a single post instead of just the visible ones.
To get an individual facebook post link, click on the date/time link just under
the poster's name. The individual post link will be in the form

flickr support updated. If you use BID to download from flickr please read the following:
The BID flickr API key used in previous versions of BID was disabled by flickr due to too many API calls per second and for allowing images that were flagged by the owner as "not downloadable" to be downloaded. This means older versions of BID (5.35 and below) will NOT work with flickr any more.
Please use the "Flickr Login" function to link your flickr account with BID (Ctrl+Alt+F) as any previous links are no longer valid. Linking your Flickr Account to BID will allow BID to access all images your account has access to. If you don't link your account BID will only be able to access public images.
BID will now no longer allow images flagged as "not downloadable" to be downloaded (unless the images belong to you). In such cases the image status will appear as "flickr download not allowed". Some delays and limits are now enforced:
For registered (paid) versions of BID:
- No more than 5 simultaneous download threads when downloading from flickr
- A 1 second delay is added between each flickr API function call
For unregistered (trial) versions of BID: - Only 1 download at a time when downloading from flickr

1. Start BID
2. Select the BID->BID Site Login function (or press Ctrl+Alt+L). This will open a special BID browser window.
3. Enter https://tumblr.com into the URL field of the BID browser window and press Enter
4. The main tumblr page will load. If you're not currently logged in to tumblr, click on the "login" link and log in.

Troublshooting:
If BID fails to load the tumblr pages via it's internal browser you will have to clear your Interet Explorer cookies.
(You must do this even if you use a different browser as BID uses an embedded version of Internet Explorer to load pages containing javascript). To do this start Internet Explorer (for Windows 10 users, click start then type in "Internet Explorer" to locate it. Note that MS Edge is not Internet Explorer). Click on the settings "cog" in the top right and select Safety->Delete Browsing History (or press Ctrl+Shift+Del). Tick only the "Cookies and website data" checkbox, then click on the Delete button. Restart at step 1 above. - BID Site Login feature updated (access via main BID menu or press Ctrl+Alt+L). [from{,s}-to{:increment}{,label}]
Items in curly brackets {} are optional

site.com/gallery/page.php
site.com/gallery/page2.php
site.com/gallery/page3.php
...
site.com/gallery/page10.php
The increment will default to 1 if not specified.
'label' is a single letter name for the particular range variable, e.g. A] or B], etc.
Use labels if you need to use the current range value elsewhere in the URL
e.g. http://site.com/album[5-10,A]/pics[A]_[001-100].jpg
The range 5-10] is labelled 'A'
[A] will be replaced with the current value of the range 5-10] when generating the list.
You can add an optional offset to the label value as follows:
[label{+n}]
e.g. http://site.com/album[1-10,A]/pics[A]_[001-100].jpg
where the A] refers to the current value of the 1-10] range...
This will produce:
http://site.com/album5/pics5_001.jpg
http://site.com/album5/pics5_002.jpg
...
http://site.com/album5/pics5_100.jpg

What's new in in 2.15.0.3? 9 September 2009
- Added new "Only resolve redirect links at download time' option to Advanced Config->Redirect LinksNormally BID will resolve all redirection links immediately after a page is loaded. The problem with this is that some redirection "services" (like urlcash) will ban you IP if too many lookups are performed within a short space of time. To reduce the chances of your IP being banned this option will cause BID to perform the lookup just before it attempts to download the full sized image. For best results you may also need to reduce the number of simulateneous downloads.
- Added automatic link derivation for cocoimage images
What's new in 2.15.0.2? 7 September 2009
- Improved redirection resolutionSome redirection "services" like urlcash block a user's IP if there are too many redirection lookups within a certain period. To minimise this problem BID can now derive the full sized image link directly from the thumbnailed image without having to resolve the redirection link. This works for the following image hosts:imagevenue, imagefap, imagebam, hotlinkimage, picfoco, pixhost, upmyphoto, imagehaven, cocoimage(Make sure the "Don't follow redirect links..." option is enabled in Advanced Config->Redirect Links).

What's new in2.14.0.3? 26 August 2009
- include/ignore/redirect lists now support simple "must contain" or "must not contain" substring matching. Many users find regular expressions hard to understand so now BID allows for simple substring matching.
If a link must include a certain string use the form <url must include this>
e.g. <example.com/image.php?>
(only links containing "example.com/image.php" will match)
If a link must exclude a certain string use the form<!url must exclude this>
e.g. <!something=1>
(only links that don't contain "something=1" will match).
These may be combined together - all must be true for a link to be matched.
e.g. To match URLs containing "wantthis=1" and "alsowantthis=2" that don't contain "unwanted=1":
<wantthis=1><alsowantthis=2><!unwanted=1>
A normal regular expression can follow, e.g. example above but URL must end with "test=1"
<wantthis=1><alsowantthis=2><!unwanted=1>test\=1$ - fixed some possible issues with URLs containing the + character
